Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA). This piece of legislation is designed to fill the gaps not addressed by the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, Americans with Disabilities Act and FMLA. The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act went into effect June 27, 2023.
